The Garage is committed to caring for the health and well-being of our customers, partners, and staff during this dynamic situation. To that end, we are taking a number of actions to protect them and control the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in accordance with the expert guidance provided by the CDC and New York city and state regulations. These precautions include:
Mandatory Facial Coverings and Social Distancing: We respectfully request that all who enter the studio follow social distancing safety protocols as outlined by public health officials, including wearing a facial covering when visiting. As it is our responsibility to protect our partners, we have the right ro refuse entry to anyone unwilling to comply with these measures.
Required Negative PCR Test for Weekend Workshops: In order to ensure the safety of our staff and other attendees, The Garage will require proof of a negative PCR test prior to participation in any Weekend Workshop activities. In addition, prior to commencement of the workshop, The Garage will conduct rapid tests for all participants on-site.
Vaccination Guidance: We strongly encourage all partners to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as they are eligible. During Weekend Workshops, proof of a completed course of vaccination will be accepted in lieu of a negative PCR test.
Transferable Dates: We understand that travel during this period entails greater potential risk, and travelers may have additional concerns. To support those customers concerned about travel risk, we will honor and transfer any dates for Weekend Workshops up to one year from date of purchase. We understand that the current COVID-19 pandemic presents unique challenges, and The Garage wants to offer continued flexibility and reassurance during this time. If you cannot attend a Weekend Workshop, please contact us and we will help discuss your options.
Enhanced cleaning measures: The Garage will be observing elevated cleaning and sanitizing protocols that meet or exceed public health guidelines.
The Garage’s commitment to you is that we will continue to make proactive decisions grounded in transparency and science – for our partners and the people we serve. We continue to closely monitor guidance from local and national health authorities and will update our procedures as needed to adhere to the most effective health and safety standards.
